Stephen Wright – Head Coach
We are delighted to welcome Stephen Wright – a highly experienced Level 5 LTA tennis coach. He joined Chalfont St Peter Tennis Club at the beginning of November 2015 to develop and grow the junior membership. He will also provide coaching for adults, beginners, improvers and experienced team players alike.
His experience spans two decades and incorporates an International grounding in Spain, Australia and New Zealand. Chalfont St Peter Tennis Club are very pleased to welcome Stephen to our club and we wish him every success.
Stephen was ranked no. 10 in Queensland, Australia. He has also represented Bedfordshire’s County Team in the Summer and Winter County Cups. Stephen was part of Stirling Universities International Sports Scholarship Programme. Stephen won the ‘Deliverer of the Year Award’ through LEAP in 2016 which recognised his contribution to increasing participation rates in tennis in Buckinghamshire.
Tom Packman – Assistant Coach
Tom has been playing tennis for most of his life; over the past 10 years he has competed in hundreds of tennis tournaments up and down the country. He previously worked at Gerrards Cross Bull Lane Tennis Club, and played for the men’s teams there from the age of 13. He delivers Mini Tennis, intermediate juniors and beginner adult lessons, as well as private lessons. He is currently an LTA Level 2 qualified coach and is looking to get his Level 3 in the next few years. He is also first aid trained.
