Staying Alive – how to use the defibrillator

The tennis club has purchased a new defibrillator for  emergency use at the club. We were lucky to have Derek Flint from the South Central Ambulance Service in Buckinghamshire demonstrate how to use the machine and what signs to look out for when someone is having a cardiac arrest.

The defibrillator can be found to the right of the sink in the club house. Please watch this short 5 minute video to see how to spot the signs of cardiac arrest and what to do to help save a life.
